This is going to be a long opinion from me but ok. I went ahead lmao

in my opinion he does have some issues there that make him act the way he does. When he says money doesn’t matter to him, as for now, he hasn’t shown to mean it in a disrespectful way or trying to denigrate the other person, he seems to say it so calmly as if it does not matter to him bc of how meaningless it’s become to him. However when it comes to the “I want others to depend on me” ofc it does has to do with money and the hidden issues he hasn’t shown yet.
When he says he doesn’t want to do or receive anything regardless of it being about money or not, I relate to him, for that reason I can’t go straight forward and say he’s a jerk regarding that thing about him.
There’s a point of your life in which you get tired of wanting something but not being able to get it and having to do all by yourself and even being put in situations in which your personality makes you put others’ petitions and desires, above yours, then when you’re asked what do you want, you don’t know bc you haven’t thought about it before. This ofc depending on the situations bc I can’t say it happens to me all the time.

So well, that’s my explanation to why I haven’t come to dislike him but I don’t trust him neither. This is more like my understanding so far, of this character. I’m well aware such issues aren’t good for the person himself nor for his actions towards others.

I can say I’m still pretty interested in this character and what the author has planned for his background and development.
