Well sort of but that's not really the definition for psychological, psychological literature tends to talk about horrific things that actually happen in real life or probably something like that. Kind of with traumatic experiences or some kind of mental issue [not so sure about that] but yeah :)
I get what you’re saying but if it’s psychological then it should actually hold revelance to the plot yet a lot of times in bls or dounjinshis they literally just put rape in it to put it in there and then it’s skipped over. No ptsd no fear to jail or case just rape anf they end up together. And people in the comments are okay with it as long as the seme has a tragic back story (or uke because bottoms can rape too) that shit is ANNOYING
Oh yes, very much do I agree with that. Usually BL writers aren't so good with psychological literature. One I've met that always give me chills was Harada and that's it.
That’s definitely right I know harada lives to their name. The only really reasonable and fucking top tier BL story I know with psychological literature and rape included in the story (actual relevance to the plot) is Zankoku Na kami ga shihai suru which is about a teenager to young man experiencing getting molested and his life afterwards / how he moves on but that’s really the only one I can think of
Harada's work is traumatising yet beautiful at the same time,, i just couldn't help but to read it all
