There is no real justice for rape victims because to bring down the rapist the victim will get 10 times more pain being gossiped by others being pointed at, having to relieve what happened again by sharing the story and having relationships ruined. It goes beyond the pain at the point of rape but something that follows their whole life. Whereas rapist just sits in jail (if they do get punished) and thats it everything settled.
This is why rape victims do everything to keep it a secret even if this means the rapist gets away free at least they can move on without social judgement and tag.
