What’s infuriating about all this is that Yuyang has changed. He was confident, ready to speak his mind and stand up for himself and that is the reason we all fell in love with him in the first place. But somewhere along the chapters the author stripped Yuyang of his characteristics so this cliché misunderstanding bullshit could go on for this long.
I don't know, maybe falling in love with someone gets you so vulnerable so you can't help but overthink about the what ifs
Confident people do not lack insecurities, they hide them when necessary to appear like they are confident. Yuyang is afraid because there is now a guy that legit likes him and he is not sure how to handle it. Especially since this guy has never been publicly outed before and has never had to face society before in that way. YuYang has seen it firsthand and is trying to "save" LiHuan from it.

I think you lowkey misunderstood what the seme meant. He knew that the uke didn’t want to do it with him but for the sake of the “creation/sensei” he would offer his body to the seme for like I dunno compensation?
