Unpopular opinion but i have to say it even though i love the manhwa and i enjoy it we can't deny that ash was kinda manipulative to Carlyle and take advantage of his kindness and the chasing arc wasn't that satisfying for me but yea still looking forward to sides stories

IMO, Ash knew Lyle liked him, but acted dense on purpose bc he wanted Lyle to say it first. If you remember Lyle was like “i don’t want unnecessary feelings.” So Ash was being flirty and fun thinking it’ll end at the end of the 6weeks or whatever.But, Ash knew how sensitive Lyle was and kinda used it a little to push Lyle beyond his comfort zone.
To us the readers, we knew Lyle’s feelings but Ash wasn’t totally wrong when he said they weren’t dating. Bc they weren’t. I think Lyle needed to learn to be honest w his feelings whereas Ash (who i still think was a player/playboy) genuinely learned to love, care, and be gentle to someone. The chasing arc was unsatisfying to me as well. But it kinda had to happen yk? I think Lyle was finally free from his family and free to love. He had a lot of personal things to wrap up. But idk what the author could’ve done to make it better. what do you think?
Aww thank you for that long explanation sweetheart, well i don't really remember the detail since it's been a long time since i finish reading it but I kinda didn't like how ash wasn't really open about his feelings at some point and keep giving mixed signals , i like it when the seme is clear about his feelings or at least try to prove that he is willing to stay with him in their relationship contract that they set at the beginning and wait for him however much he needs to be official or to accept his feelings or something like that , not like forgetting that he kinda forced him to make the contract with him well that how i felt about it , idk i just feel something off about him or maybe because lyle was way more innocent that ash look that way LOL

I really was trying hard to give her all valide excuses before reading this chapter and knowing the real reason, so yea GIRL WTF that just bullshit tbh, just because ur mother didn't love u doesn't mean u have to distance urself from ur friends because they are loved by their parents especially if they treat u good, in her story she didn't mention not one someone treat her bad besides her mother she was the one who choose to distance her self, and as someone in ur situation u should be more accepting and supporting knowing is not easy to fit in and get accepted, and finally no one ask u for ur approve to their relationship he literally told u to mind ur businesses so he doesn't care if u say to him that u don't approve like the audacity (⊙…⊙ )
