That was really beautiful. Even though it’s short, it’s well-paced and I love the narration, too. The art is sooo good too! The eyes really speaks a lot.
Also, THAT scene really took my breath away. I am blushing way too much and I love that it’s really intimate yet so gentle.
Definitely an easy high recommendation!
At chapter 33, I questioned myself, “Why am I still reading this?” Ahhh, with squinted eyes and using barely 10% vision, I scroll over the page and thinking that I just really wanted to see if boy actually gets out of prison to see the light of day…still intact. JUST THAT.
Kartein in his fight mode with his wings out is so majestic. Like he’s literally glowing among all the dark aura power from the others.

You know this villains were ass stupid when all three plan on ganging up against “injured Kayden” but they hella burst their mind out when he said he’s fully recovered. Pathetic cowards.

I love Seonwoo’s character so much. He’s just living his life at his own pace. Whether its his peculiar style in fashion or the comfortable dealings with his job. But I love that he knows his worth, knows when, what, and how to stand up and speak for himself (and Jeong), and that he’s chill about pretty much every minor things (aside from the sexy scene, he goes all out wild on that! XD) and that he has a loving and badass family.
After “Solo Levelling,” I haven’t really found any interesting manga to binge read not until I saw the 1st anime episode of this and I straight away read it.
I really like all the characters - no one were annoyingly boastful and selfish but just straight out proud because they know what they’re worth due to hard work, labor, and self improvement. I also like that even the supporting characters get their own “buffs” and not just disposable side characters.
The strong sense of camaraderie among the units and troop members on the field is just chef’s kiss! I rarely get emotional on my reading but this got me tearing up with their backgrounds and battles.
Props to Kafka’s monster #8 design too. I like that it’s cool (not super scary or gross or too “monster-like”) and you can still see his goofy facial expressions. I probably got traumatized with how the titans look at AOT and even that first gigantic monster at Solo Levelling.
This is just a quick takeaway too but Hoshino
& #10’s “Buddy Comedy” is really fun to watch. I guess #10 is just pretty chill but lovin’ their tandem despite their banters.

Reading through it all, I just knew that when a character isn’t that much good looking, they’re gonna be insecure and proud as hell, only to get beaten to pulp and lose or d*e.
They have the most beautiful and adorable set of children ever! I love how they all just mixed up Seth and Theo’s features and come up with different variations for the kids’ appearance!
Ok, Jaekyung is an ass beyond redemption. The only “reasonable” route for Doc Dan is to realized that he’s valuable himself and deserve so much better. Whether Jaekyung has feelings for Doc dan (if there’s any) or not, it’s unacceptable to shove that in as “I finally realized” later on. At this point, I’m really just reading to see Doc Dan get away from this toxic cage and find himself some peace. Gosh!
If you read chapter 132 without any context, you’d be shipping Sir Clerivan and Duke Gallahan like what’s with their staring and soft talk.
What makes this really good is how well they can communicate what’s in their mind to words.They’re super into each other but also has respect and boundaries set. Gosh, this is the bl development we all deserved really.
I just love it when he goes to seal mode. He’s such a dummy daddy for his man and his baby. And why is he so proactive??? I love it!!!
After Kayden destroyed this Astra ass guy, I need my family to have a lonnngggg relaxing vacation! No fights, no getting hurt! They had too much back-to-back fight to death scenes.
