i fully agree that watanabe is a piece of shit and i'm glad he's clearly self-aware because he doesn't ask for forgiveness from hazuki. the fact that he even reached out to the root of his issues even if it's been ten years (yuuki) makes me slightly surprised/impressed bc the usual seme thing to do is to like... force the uke to forgive him with some slightly non-douchey lines and the uke swoons back into his arms so this is already a better change of pace. i do hope we get at least one chapter of watanabe trying to prove himself to hazuki again to show that he truly has resolved his past issues before they start dating again.

ngl i really thought this was gonna be trash in the beginning bc of how they started and it was such a pity bc of how beautifully they're drawn but now??? the second volume??? it's actually really sweet and cute?????? just the way you actually see love and affection from the seme's side and the extra when he was planning on taking him to a different cuisine for every date it's just so wholesome??? i love that it grew into something healthy and beautiful. (still wish the rape wasn't included though bc its frankly unnecessary)
god this chapter made me SOO HAPPY i feel like we always see bl manga/webtoon characters face homophobic and shitty characters and its like yes i understand the world is shitty to gay ppl but like IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO INCLUDE THE PEOPLE THAT LOVE YOU THAT WILL STAY BY YOUR SIDE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SEXUALITY IS BECAUSE IT DOESNT MATTER. after reading about friends who bully or distance themselves after a character comes out, the endless support that these two got is so wonderful and satisfying and i am so so glad the author included this. characters like this are so underrated and it makes me really happy there was a whole chapter dedicated to it. there's hard parts to being lgbt+ (obviously) but we can't forget about the people who just stay by your side and make it possible to pull through <3
