The last chapter is the oddest ending i have ever read seems more like a fuck you to someone by the author, maybe editors or someone on their team? The story went to shit once they decided to bring back people from bottom past.
The ending was definitely a choice. Both characters are in desperate need of psychiatric treatment. Yikes!!! Bdsm is definitely not about self harming just because you are a masochist whose needs are not being met that shit was wack and irresponsible putting that in there.
Look a reconciliation is obviously going to happen but why not make the Seme have some conviction at least? Whats the point of him having internal dialogue of someone who is strong but his actions don’t match? At least make the bottom be the one working to get him back. Its always the same so much effort in the plot when it’s about angst and drama but one the perpetrator of toxicity has to suffer consequences authors just don’t bother.

It’s quite obvious who the author favours which makes it being a love triangle baffling? That’s why the plot is off and going in circles. Author wants to long it out with TJ as long as possible. Not that i hate his character i just think it’s obvious the bias in the writing so why wasn’t he just the main love interest? Makes reading it jarring either way its time to get rid off one love interest and let the story move along. It’s boring now.
