IKR! I felt the exact same way! At no point throughout the story I ever felt his growth or attachment towards the alpha... It genuinely felt like he was forcing himself to stay with him . Everything was so one-sided till the very end and the uke remained the same. After a while i couldn't give a shit about their romance because to me it was non-existent.
I stuck around for hesoo and dojun because they had a wayy better story line and development compared to the main couple. I wish they had a series of their own but instead the author made a even shittier story about the sister...

Has the author ever explained why he doesn’t speak, have any type of facial expressions, inner monologue? Heck even body language anything that communicates thoughts or feelings? Other than complete silence.
I think he might just be a man of few words, and the others don’t seem to mind either. They actually want him around seems like. This chapter it seemed like he was a little more upset than usual, so he might talk more next chapter.

Being an introvert or man of few words doesn’t explain why he has no facial expressions. He doesn’t even have inner monologue… its just silence pretty much. I couldn’t tell if he was mad because his face looks the same all the time.
I get what your saying, he might have a chapter or two where they recap on what his inner monologue was during the stories. Some authors like to do that for the main characters love interest. I think because he isn’t the main character they focus more on the red head, than his bf.
There is another short story that came out in November last year recently translated which is exactly like this one.
It’s called bridle the exact same premise only it’s the uke that got bullied or hurt by the seme and he kidnaps the seme and starts raping him for revenge.
Im laughing because I can’t believe two authors would just write the same story.
