No victim will ever want to be with their rapist that’s delusional this story is realistic in that aspect i think most readers are just used to rape being brushed off in BL… the character makes it clear he didn’t want a romantic relationship with the rapist even throughout school, yes they were close but as you can tell jihyun was already isolating chiwoo from everyone even back then but chiwoo seems naturally passive and ignored the red flags.
Unfortunately it led him to being raped. He even specifically talks about how the rape traumatised him to the point his mom was beside herself for her son? He goes back to school finally and tries to get back some semblance of normality and his rapist follows him and unapologetically starts to stalk him again, causing him problems and in the end again assaults him by throwing him down the stairs which could’ve resulted in serious injuries. Like come on the author goes out of their way to show and even chiwoo himself speaks about the trauma jihyun has caused him. Chiwoo says he wants to die every time he sees the rapist because his reminded of what happened…. Like you can’t brush off what he explicitly says in the hospital scene to jihyun unless you’re crazy.
So shipping them is really bizarre because it shows disrespect of what the author portrays and writes in the story and what the characters say themselves.
Lord they can finally move on to a different arc hopefully one that doesn’t involve kidnapping… or them being separated. Time to reread

The sex scenes are uncomfortable because the bottoms body isn’t proportioned like an adult man. Being short doesn’t equal looking like 13 year old boy… you can still be short and look like an adult. Smh!!
Other than that the characters are very cliche which doesn’t leave much room for genuinely interesting plot. The bottom is just the typical weak uke. He just went from one controlling character (mom) to another (bf) doesn’t have a personality or will of his own.

So the ML has been obsessed with the MC since high school, ML is screwed in the head for whatever reason…will get backstory at some point explaining that. ML was messing with brother we don’t know if he wanted to do it or if the brother coerced him judging by flashback pic of brother beaten up I'm guessing he was obsessed with ML and killed himself as revenge against ML falling in love with MC. MC had own family problems from father.. and most likely ran away from ML and their relationship in the past. The young actor is probably going to be a nuisance and the blonde lead ML brother obviously abuses him by beating him up and whatever else. The gangster guy is interesting whats he got to do with the MC, his hot so I'm intrigued. Gangster guy is obviously another obsessed love rival. Pretty predictable plot but interesting nonetheless.
I think so, too. The brother's probably favourite child and obsessed with blonde ML so when the ML falls in love with the MC, he purposely showed him the scene they kissed. Maybe the brother even provoked the MC so he beat him up like in the flashback. Then he did smt to revenge them, harming himself, maybe. The MC thought that it's all his fault, running away. Since then, the ML leads a promiscuous life.
This is why i loathe long hiatuses the story always goes left… rape isn't really necessary in this story especially from Matthew. So why did the author include it?
