If you need better help understanding, I could explain it to you in simple terms. After they both confessed to each other genuinely, there was a scene following with a “castle like” building with a bunch of flowers. I’m assuming it’s the ML’s home since he is a young master and the flowers is the garden the MC help grew after he came back with the ML. He chose ML when he said he wanted to watch ML “bloom”. And the scene with the garden just confirms it. Hope that helps.
I feel the same but different thoughts came in mind, i felt like it wasn't a happy ending at all lol wanting to watch him "bloom" feels like he will remain in that garden and watch him as he build his own family.. i dunno it's probably just me or the ending gave me that idea

Why would he be close to seme and watch him marry someone else after they both confessed to each other and uke explicitly said he didn’t want to leave seme and wants to keep seeing him. And not to mention uke saying he wants to build a garden for “us”. Like why would seme marry someone else
