I think the ML was doing what is considered "Good Samaritan" work with the first scenario. The MC would've been absolutely screwed if he didn't do what he did. I like to call this bit stretching reality. We can't necessarily apply our world's non-consent onto a world with subs/doms can't control their innate urges. I would also say this is going to differ depending on the story. But in this story it seems pretty compulsive and self destructive not to self medicate or partake.
That said I still think the Dom could've fucking stopped and just commanded the MC to take the meds. But then yet again maybe the crushed ones were all he had.
If everything that went down hadn't I'd think the MC is a dumb ass ding dong. But because we've read everything I think him drugging Taeju is deserved and well within his right.
