Idk how the author pulled it off but they made him look older yet not. Like he doesnt look like a young guy that author just said was old you can somehow tell hes on the older side. But they didnt need to make him look wrinkly or add extra lines to him either! Honestly I have no freaking idea how they pulled that off but I will strive to reach that point in my own art!
I totally agree. I like it how the author portrayed him. But I think it all has to do with a person's manners, manner of speaking and the person's character make-up that makes you able to tell that the guy is an older guy. But it is down pretty well. Especially the way how the author made the older guy seem so refined.

I don't think so. You see a lot of manga and stuff with 20 something year olds running around in similar clothing but you neve get the same feel.

I actually like it. Love and like come in so many different forms, and sex and/or romance need not be a part of it. I loved Oz-Gil-Alice relationship in Pandora Hearts, and I’m liking the relationships in this one too. There’s not enough stories with explorations of love beyond standard romance, imo.
