i actually think the ending was very fulfilling. you don't know if they are together after this. they just greeted each other, doesn't mean they are back together. it's an open ending, you can choose your own alternative. i mean, they have never talked, not for real, so i would expect them to get a 100% closure. and you can - as everyone else can - imagine how it went and choose your own final ending.

I honestly love gravitation. But half way through the manga when the art style changed it went from being a serious story with an actual plot that didn't feel repetitive to a gag story that felt like it was on repeat and all the serious points of the first half was regurgitated back at us as a big fat joke. I absolutely hate it. I don't know what the mangaka was thinking. I'm so glad i watched the anime before I read the manga I don't think I would've invested time into the anime otherwise. I think its cool the author wrote their own doujin but this is a distasteful kind of yaoi. There's the kind of yaoi an author would write to add to the dynamics of a pairing like the webtoon raising a bat where the author drew a smut scene for the finale to show that the main couple now officially overcame the biggest obstacle in their relationship and now completely trust each other. Then there's the kind of yaoi this is, where its sole purpose is just to make money and be mindless smut.
I couldn't agree more. Gravitation was my first yaoi and and my first manga! When the art style changed, my obsession nose dived. Not only because the story wasn't as good but because Shuichi began to look a little too young, if you know what I mean. This DJ was highly unnecessary and I've never looked at more than a few pages before getting bored and kinda angry.
I know this is an odd request but does anyone know any stories that have a shoujo ai (or yuri i dont judge) relationship tag that involves reincarnation?
Unfortunately, I don't know any manga or webcomics that fit that description, but there are a couple of web novels that do:
- The General’s Manor Young Concubine Survival Report (modern girl reincarnates in the body of a canon fodder villainess and decides to avoid a bad ending by pursuing the female lead instead of the male lead)
- Mistress, I Was Wrong (similar plot to Concubine Survival Report)
- Quick Transmigration: Fate Trading System (a former assassin is reincarnated in different worlds and has to seduce various women along the way -- in the current arc she becomes the companion/concubine to a female emperor)
- My Disciple Wants to Tease Me Every Day (a woman reincarnates and tries to save the world by reforming the female villain, who ends up falling in love with her)
- Considering the Possibility of Falling in Love With the Villain ( similar to My Disciple, but instead of a fantasy world its a post-apocalyptic world)
Can't believe I also forgot:
- I Favor the Villainess: A woman is reincarnated as the MC of an otome game, however instead of any of the male targets, her target is the female villain.
- The Villainess Blooms: Another villainess noble girl otome novel, however when the villainess is suppose to be punished by her prince fiance for bullying the game's FL, she's saved by the prince's younger sister. The MC of this one is the "villainess" who isn't a reincarnator or transmigrator, but it's hinted that the princess who saves her is.
