I love this, but it's really annoying me the mc being a pushover and his friend being so obsessed with romance.
I could never stay best friends with somebody so starved for romantic attention to the point of seeing a classmate of mine and immediately start begging me to befriend them just so I could be their cupid.
It's honestly sad, I hope the author won't brush it off and actually make them have a talk about it.
I don't mind her being considered ugly even though she looks normal to us, since that's a entirely another "world" and culture. My problem is the freckles being too overused, come on, let's be creative:
Use weirdly shaped eyes/eyelashes, unique hair color, visually horrible scars/spots, round noses, small or big lips (you choose which is considered ugly in your story), etc...
She kinda does look on the plain side compared to other manhwa people
Freckles depending on the person that has them can make you look pretty but there are people that don't suit them(not to mention that here they look really big). Still the artists sometime draw their characters as much appealing to the eye but in fact those characters are as uhly as the are prescribed.
Meant to say as ugly as they have been written. Don't know if here that is the case or she just need to be taken care of but until now (though i think she is plain but still pretty) she is called really ugly so i can go only by this.
Yeah i always see artists/authors make someone with freckles ugly. Like freckles, messy hair, and glasses or something and then they do a little make up and fix themselves up and all of a sudden they're gorgeous. I think a scar would've been better.
Yeah a scar would have been so cool
That's what I was thinking.
People kept calling her ugly since she was a baby. It would have been nice if she has a big birthmark on her face or a scar.
The story would make much more sense then
In the narrative sense it would make so much sense since she's always mentioned about how she's been assaulted by her peers/father it would be nice to see a cool scar preferably on her cheek or face
