Why??? This has such a amazing writing but such a bad protagonist, and he KNOWS it, he himself calls the vampire a child and that he just choose to be with him bc he wants someone who won't die on him. He's a creep with a unstable mental health. I can't even understand how he was able to adopt a kid, especially a vampire one, since he didn't have ANY knowledge on how to raise one, not to mention after being in premises looking at the children in the orphanage clearly without a "guide". Thank God his ex died, he got free from this nasty trash.
Poor child, he was OBVIOUSLY groomed.

I loved the ending. Many of those immortal x mortal troupes either magically turns one of them into the other species or leave an open "and they lived happily ever after" ending. This is bittersweet and didn't appeal to the eternal happiness.
Would liked better if it deepened the characters back stories though, did the deity simply cease to exist? Or did they start to live with humans? His other half was like a sibling or lover? (Would be even sadder if his other half was the god's lover though). Did Izuki have a bad childhood? Why was he so superficial?
Where's @Arthur Morgan my pookie wookie saying "Maru in her something era!"?
I’m not who you’re looking for but-
Maru in her pilot era?!
LMAO thank you
