I dunno but the novel really felt MORE depressing and really fucking sad, when she was beaten in a brick of death, she literally couldn't even walk properly and can't show her face bc of the beating. I think the has more impact than the manhwa adaptation ngl
I just read this in one sitting and as a girl this really thought me a LOT abt womanhood, its just woww i can't explain how I relate to this so much in this day and age.
