idk how much you've read but how we got to this chapter was ilyan found out the sculpture was created because james was obsessed with ilyans father. he decides to bring his father to an award show so james can see that he's not actually the one he sculpted after. in order to do that, kyle called his brother to arrange a meeting for them and they take a boat to his father. on the boat, we get a backstory and kyle is trying to stop ilyan from drinking and this will be day one of him sober. they try to convince his dad but he says no and that he's finally away from his stalker. ilyan finds out he has a little sister and falls really sick because of withdrawal symptons (but its worse). kyle is mad at himself for letting this happen and not knowing how bad it was and ilyan picks up on that. he wants to sleep with kyle but kyle wont because he's sick. ilyan gets mad and now we're at this recent chapter. hope this helped ^^
