So Seme victim blamed him for getting anssaulted and admitted he would rape him if he had the chance? “Romance” is turning into straight up crime in BL
It feels like for once the crime is intentional in this story! I might be wrong but I have not felt it to be a typical BL romance and it reads to me as a realistic portrayal of gradual sexual coercion and abuse and possibly even worse crimes to come. I hope the author doesn’t do a 180 and turn this into a typical romance bc right now for me the seme is giving ultra villain and possibly psychopath. Run uke!!!

Oh, the author is definetly going to turn this into 'its actually a love story' cause it's 2025 and rape/abuse plots are still the norm in BL

Y’all this is a novel adaptation. The artist of this has no control over the plot of the story
Yeah, I liked the blonde guy (who was actually pretty nice to the ML, and probably have some good chemistry), I don't mind ML not caring (?) But somewhat feeling guilty about his friend's death, but I think the story show be more about the blonde guy, the ML's guilt for the first season bcuz of this

Well, my point still stands, and author is a general term anyways, it applies to the idiot who wrote the novel. From our point of view, the relationship still has to unfold and turn into... Whatever abomination the next novel chapters hold.

True! Most are very rape infused. Very few stories I have read seem to portray highly accurate stories of methodical coercion and grooming though which is why I feel like this is intentional, similar to killing stalking which was an eerily realistic portrayal of how a vulnerable man was coerced to fall in love with his abuser. Yoonbum loved Sangwoo and at the same time knew he was abusive and wanted to get away from him. I get similar vibes here so far. The author of this series may disappoint me in end but I’ll still finish reading it haha
The cover with the collar around the SEME’S neck and the Uke holding the leash is super misleading… I was excited for a dominant bottom not this creep fest
im not a professional or anything, but i really love art, and i think it might have to do with how seme waited for uke all his life, like a dog waiting for its owner, if you know what i mean! he’s like a disobedient dog, that in the end, is just a dog that’s bound to wait for its owner.

Oh, thanks! I didn’t know that. Is there a translation?
