somehow i came to like the villain more than the mc... sooha is a strong character, although she is manipulative, she is sure of what she wants, and does whatever it takes to get it. she could have been a strong foxy female lead. while mirae is sooo dumb to the point of being annoying. with such lil self respect as hers, she doesnot suit kyunsuk. she just keeps hurting him because of her fucking insecurity... just how more obvious can a guy be than this???mirae would just keep being protected by kyunsuk, and keep hurting him in exchange! i want sooha to end up with kyunsuk, though i know thats impossible.. atleast she is clever, she wont hurt him, and can protect him, instead of being protected all the time... i have had enough of dumb loser MCs. now i want a strong cunnin female lead like sooha

mirae feels like she was born as such an ugly person and that no one would ever love her, she was so hurt to the point that she wanted to kill herself. that did a lot of damage to her self esteem. she got plastic surgery so people wouldn't discriminate her or treat her the way they did in the past. she knows that kyungsuk is very attractive and she believes that he would never like a girl like her because deep down she feels like her old self, she doesn't want to believe that she likes kyungsuk because she is afraid. you can ship sooha and kyungsuk if you want, but don't say things like "mirae is sooo dumb" because she is actually a very smart person she is just shy and insecure, she is not annoying and she is not aware that she is hurting kyungsuk, if you know that sooha and kyungsuk aren't going to end up together and you find the protagonist "annoying" then stop reading it. (not being rude just giving my opinion on what you've said).
Not only that but shes judged for her very obvious plastic surgery too. she was bullied for being “ugly” so changed herself only for ppl to look down on her for that too! Mirae really cant win lol shes damned if she do and damned if she dont.

Her face expression tells that she does not know why is she doing all of this. And i think she is not bad. But with kyungsuk she is no suitable for being lovers, she is suitable for being friends. They are both know beauty struggle and unlike ordinary characters that like beauty obsession. They are both do not fall easily beauty. Though Soah doind wrong things. And i think Soah actually really like Mirae hha. She does not realize it. /maybe as friends or love interest, anything will be ok/ Smart like Soah, Kyungsuk can not resist pr hate this pure hearted girl hha. And maybe that is why Soah irritate at Mirae /maybe/

in this day and age, people do judge others by our looks, Mirae doesn't feel beautiful. it may take a while to make her believe that she is now a beautiful person.
the Auther has created a certain character for Mirae, they cant change that, plus it makes us feel bad for her and want to protect her, like most romance stories (not all are like this but its common) the man protects the girl. Mirae has very little confidence and was hurt when she was younger, she didn't have any friends to help her get through those times so I guess shes just not used to the attention, like I said you can ship Sooha and Kyungsuk but unfortunately for you, there's not much you can do about Mirae's personality.
