No, I get you. I don’t care what tragic backstory or “experiments” the ML went through, none of that excuses the physical and mental abuse he inflicted on the MC. People like him perpetuate the cycle where the abused becomes the abuser, and the worst part is he refuses to even acknowledge it. Sure, you can pity him for what happened to him, but don’t you dare forget the pain, trauma, and scars he left on others. Abusers don’t get free passes just because they’ve suffered especially when they choose to repeat the harm instead of breaking the cycle.

There is a difference between red flag and just psycho rape/ mind break stories. This here belongs more with Killing Stalking instead of BL. Im gonna say this once but I don’t wanna to be hearing that from someone who’s unemployed, throws around slur, and defends an abuser just because he had a sad past, fully knowing he chose to repeat the harm instead of breaking the cycle.

Yes the ML was experimented on by his father and others, but that doesn’t erase the pain he caused. He abused his power, his position, his pheromones, and even his own child just to keep the MC tied to him. He knew from the very start that the MC liked him, yet he toyed with him and once he got his fun, he ended it.

And let’s be clear it’s the ML fault they both left. If he had treated them better and been honest from the beginning saying something like, “I’ve never experienced these feelings before, but after you left, I realized it was love. I want to protect you and our son. I want to cherish you both.” none of this would have happened.

The reason they left wasn’t just because of his father’s interference. Even without that, the MC already knew he had to break the bond from the very beginning. His father may have accelerated it, but the cracks were always there because of the ML’s own actions.

So no this doesn't help. What it does show me is that there are still people like you who defend him purely because he was experimented on, as if that magically erases every choice he made afterward. Trauma explains someone’s behavior, but it doesn’t excuse it especially when they consciously repeat the same harm they went through. At some point, it’s no longer about what happened to him, it’s about what he’s doing to others. And if you can’t see that, you’re not defending a victim, you’re enabling an abuser.
