after getting overpowered he didnt care about other dragons who 'hid' themselves, or he (acnologia) didnt know about 3rd continent, or since the old guy said these dragons have same power lvl as him, he couldnt kill them

Hmmm that whith the same power level would explain why those 4 dragons are still alive, but it leaves the question how the dragons that were eaten by the 5th generation survived. I mean I think the possibility that acnologia didn't know of the third continend is pretty low, because he had a lot of time to fly around the world.
And the only dragons that came from the past were those that came through eclipse and those all disappeared when Natsu destroyed the gate.
if u guys watched the movie, there was that dragon who lived inside the girl. The other dragons might have done the same and lived the past 400 years secluding themselves from acnologia. Just cuz he had time dont mean he looked around the world for the dragon's population.
Also i think this 3rd continent has its own dragon specimen, and these dragon eater guys eat/ate them. And there is no proof (yet) the dragons who were eaten r still alive.

I think this development is great. I mean yes it is slow, but it is a story where the characters slowly fall in love. And not the moment they saw each other for the first time (like most of the time in BLManga).
Like that it is more realistic and the dificulties they are facing are realistic too. Especially families like YuYangs still exist a lot and with YuYang and how he acts around his parents it is shown pretty well how much pain such 'small' things can cause him.
I personally love this story a lot and hope it'll continue just like that.
