In a way the author depiction of mental illness is so beautiful. As somone who is mentally ill and who has family members with different disorders/personality disorders it feels refreshing to see the dark realism of it. Like I understand that it's toxic but what do you expect from a disordered man and another man who is in his own way also disordered but has a better understanding on how to cope. I feel like mental illness are usually presented in a weird overdramatic way or aspd but this is just beautiful in it's dark way

Honestly this is genuinely so well written. "Oh this is rape though how is it well written"
You have to think about it in the sense of it's not the case of rape=love its the case of this is a psycho killer who is assertive and showing he is in control. With the genuinely good plot mixed with the good art mixed with characters having actual personalities and not so one dimensional makes me love this so much

Yeah. I didn't read extras in detail (I only read parts of the novel) but I did hear spoilers. Also the parts I read made it clear that their relationship is broken af. Dude is obsessed with him and he let's him be obsessed (in a very unhealthy way). I don't even know if TJ loves him. Zhenya definitely does in his dysfunctional way that needs him to be put in mental hospital.
Nah cause my guy was actually trying to talk shit out at one point but bro was like "nuh uh, we rage-fucking now"
