Does every historical/fantasy/isekai BL webtoon lack good plot and characters or is it just me? Where is some interesting story?? Sometimes, I feel like they think adding a gay couple in a story is already making it more "interesting" and "unique". Which is obviously not.
When I was reading this "shoujo"-type webtoons with fantasy world, I thought, "Wow, wouldn't it be cool to read something like this but with BL? A servant falling for his master, a knight meeting unexpected ally..." There's so much potential for good story!! But no. Every character in BL webtoon is gay. All the drama is about rape. Great. Are we again in 2000y or what??

Don’t let the cover fool u, the art is gorgeous, and i haven’t read season 2 yet, but season one has a rlly good plot, character developments r also good. It’s a fantasy/historical-looking manhwa. Official is on Lezhin.
There’s also Titan’s Bride, I read it for shits n giggles, but the relationship is cute, and plot is just abt their romance and the new world our mc is thrust into (so isekai). I would say it’s a fun read.
Ohh if you want a fantasy story focused on an actual plot w a small BL side romance, I would recommend The Croaking:

This is very good, romance part is not super strong but that’s bc it’s not focused on our main lead’s relationship, the actual focus is on the main plot—seems like something ur looking for!
