The last few years no one ever had a problem with this manga. I come on this site for an escape to read some manga that doesn't have to resemble reality so it's okay if the plot doesn't make sense. Every comment section i go to always is complaining about the r@pe, it's seriously ruining my mood and completely buries any other possible discussion for the manga. Like jeez, I know it's r@pe ? You don't need to guilt trip people for fantasies that do not affect anyone. If you don't like it, just drop it. Don't ruin the fun for other people. Besides, Forcing your own ideologies don't even make sense here. The fucking setting is a **prison**, where shit horrible stuff is suppose to happen. This reminds me of how much hate Hazbin Hotel gets for portraying characters of HELL as absolutely homophobic, murderous assholes.

I know people are fucking snowflakes and it’s annoying like they don’t fucking understand that there are different genres that are violent it’s not all fucking rainbow and sunshine’s in your 12 year old little fucking mind and the author has the right to Wright that. And this shit really does happen in prisons and they are just ignorant to everything it’s sad

I'm honestly so fucking frustrated with the last few chapters that it's making me cry. Their relationship took such a turn and it's reminding me of toxic relationships that I've been through. The Duke is so emotionally manipulative and controlling like with the death threats, trying to get her jealous, etc. It was made out as a joke but all that forced a situation where the MC felt she had to hurt herself to get away from him. Idk, may just be me. Reading this gave me so much anxiety and stress.

There are many people that like this type of character (hence why yandere is such a big thing) and its not like anyone would want an abusive relationship in real life but fiction gives the ability to live out a romanticised version and unless you're a child (who shouldn't even be on this site) its not hard to distinguish between “oh this is fiction that overly romanticises aspects of an abusive relationship” and “ah yes this is what a relationship should be. I should totally expect my partner to manipulate me and keep tabs on me” if it triggers you, dont read. Simple. The exact reason why i dont read anything that even hints at rape.

Because this story is meant to appeal to the trope that love can fix "broken" people. It's an overplayed kind of toxic trope, but some people enjoy it. This story isn't meant to show a functional relationship between functional people. It's a drama, meant to showcase that the handsome "insane" prince just needs the loving of a plain-jane to become "sane."
I'm putting it in quotes because,, as someone with mental issues such as bipolar issues, the idea that we need repairing or are inherently evil is really fucked up and overplayed. Like come on. But most people who indulge in this trope *today* know that, and aren't going to think all psychopaths are evil or monsters. Because not being able to feel empathy doesn't make you evil, it just makes you different - you can still feel sympathy and be kind afterall.
But personal rant aside, that is what this story is about.
