It s good but normally Chise work are really more deep... So i m a bit disappointed
I kinda of prefer her happier works because whenever she does psychological or "deep" stories she includes rape. Psychological and darker stories can be done without that but each and every one of her deeper stories involves sexual abuse.
If you already read all of Chise's works, you will find she also wrote funny and stupid stories. And I won't call her works 'deep', but rather dark and..nasty in a good way.
Kusatta Rasen is pretty deep.
Almost none of them does. Only Caste Heaven but Azusa enjoys it very much even the first time. Later it is violent but not necessery rape, he also can escape if he wants to. Yuzuru used to sell his body, but that's just one panel, he wants Iwase to satisfy him at the first time, and later it's consensual. The 3 incest stories have no rape in them either. Ienai itami is obvious, no rape, but it is a sad thing. ( It's not really a dark story, I think.) in Ibitsu no kakera, Takumi offers his body in exchange to burn Misaki's face. He does it, and the sex is consensual. In Kusatta rasen, there is a high possibility, that rape was involved, but now it's just the story of an extremely frustrated guy, who tries to physically dominate his son, but is not strong enough to do that. I mean a lot more than that, but that's for an other post. Ataru clearly enjoys the smex. And yes, Hideaki was raped in high school, but again, we do not see it, it's just one panel. The other stories are not dark, and they don't really have rape in it if you don't think Owaranai's car scene is rape. Most yaois are pretty unrealistic, and the quote unquote rape almost always happens to characters already wanting to have sex with each other, or the uke starting to feel really good, or it later turns into reationship. In real life things like these do not really happen. Most of Ogawa's darker stories mention or refer to some sort of abuse, but most of the time, we don't see it neither it is sexual. I find Caste Heaven too much, but the story is getting boring and repetitive too. That's a personal opinion of course, but I honestly don't really know if her meaningless, cliched and 0 chemistry sugar coated stuff, or her far too fetched, trying to be edgy and it always ends with crying "darker" stories are worse. The things that are good from her are either both, and they are always bittersweet. It's not good if it's too fluff or too violent, it has to be in between, has to have a feeling of melancholia and things for us to think about that's larger than the story. She also tends to ruins her stories with the extra chapters. She should stick to oneshots, and not trying to be a mangaka of erotic stories, and make us vote on twitter and writing meaningless Gosan no heart and Owaranai spinoffs cause it's not working out. She should just try to write something similar to kusatta rasen, that has everything she's good at in it and even more but it's not really popular cause people can't deal with the story. Maybe it's just me. I guess if it gets her more money, Ogawa should continue stories about ukes whose eyes become teary from a french kiss, semes breaking their bones 3 times in 2 chapters, and stories that has every single character turning out to be a mad sadist. ( Last chap on CH, once again.) Props to you. That's just my opinion, sorry not sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, I just wanted to express my thoughs that no one seems to share. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
