Not everyone going "yippee they're together" I'm still scared of Cirrus and his whole, "I don't want you to be happy, I'm going to drag you down with me"
P.S. I hope his father spontaneously combusts

i feel like people are misinterpreting this chapter 80 scene... i think these aren't his current thoughts but more of what he thought during the time when he still blackmailed skylar and didn't even care abt him. ig it was kind of supposed to show us what was the reasoning behind of what he did in s1. but he's not like this anymore. i mean didn't we literally see him apologize to skylar few chapters ago, saying that he won't have to put up with him anymore? people need to realize that cirrus has changed. come on have a little more faith in his character

I personally dont think people can change that much, that fast. If I'm wrong, cool ig, but I personally believe he's only latching onto Skylar because he's his last hope. Like the only shred of light left. Who knows how he will act later in the future. (i'd be a lil disappointed if Cirrus is suddenly not bad at all anymore too tbh)

A lot of ppl are explaining why this arc's "slowburn" is good. But may I offer my 2 cents. I LOVE slowburn, plot priority > imo most of the time. But THIS? At first this arc was great, but it REALLY started to drag, not because they weren't developing romantically, but because every chapter started to feel the same. Grieving and remembering the same thing over and OVER, I felt like I was watching Naruto Shippuden War Arc filler with the same backstory for the 939585th time. The way it was handled imo wasn't done that well. I'll argue that the push and pull of grieving done in Ways of Parting was done VERY well, because even though our MC is constantly grieving, the scene is constantly changing and other things are happening in his life too. This arc feels like a stand still like time stopped, nothing is REALLY happening. And just in case someone comes for me, this is criticism, not hate. I like this story a LOT but i HAD to say something fr fr
I think people are confused. Yuri has BEEN mentally disturbed. I think we're all confused why is this happening in the bonus story? I don't mind it, I'm GLAD Yuri's mental instability is being shown in full force. I'm more concerned how the author will handle it in so little episodes. And for the record, they're both bad, Jiri and Yuri. I think everyone understands that. Just because we're pointing out Yuri's erratic behavior doesn't mean we didn't see it at all in the past. And p.s. just because Yuri has also been through shit doesn't mean his behavior gets a pass. And don't think I'm defending Jiri either. They both need help
