Im surprised that this manga is based on a true story. I also did some research and found out that hurrem and ibrahim never had an affair. This is dark yet a beautiful story
If you know this authors work especially red river, she usually bases her stories off historical events.
makes me wonder if she will continue writing about the affair to stick to the actual historical event. I actually like the Sultan, so im rooting for them.
Well actually there are theories about İbrahim loved Hürrem Sultan in real history and that love turned into 'hatred' 'cause of rejection. Thats why he sided with Mahidevran Sultan and her son Mustafa. (like i said theories)
