open the schools omg. you can see in the last panel of the extra chapter, ilya is currently at the age of 26! subtract the 8 years the two were apart and there you have it. although i also felt an ick when they introduced khalid as a 10 yrs old who married an 18yo man.
They were only married 'cause Khalid had already been named king. It was supposed to be a marriage of convenience, not 'cause they were in love.
Soo-ya even says that Khalid isn't allowed to be intimately involved with Ilya till he turns 18 'cause of their laws. There's absolutely nothing wrong with their marriage if you see it as a promise or contract that when they are both adults they will be as husband and wife.
the first story was cute and i liked it but the second one... somehow i don’t really know. they’re a bunch of freeloaders to otaru which pisses me off and the ml was like “women are troublesome” D:
