Such a powerful beginning, only to end with disappointment.
I think a lot of markers touched up on why the story itself was disappointing. Evidently, people will either like the ML or not. But if you come to understand that Ari's main PTSD symptom (predominantly flashbacks) is actually an extremely severe symptom, then it begs the question as to how she was able to overcome her trauma after reading Allen's letter and literally talking to herself. Trauma is not to be taken lightly, and to write about it, one should have enough sense to research the topic thoroughly so to portray it properly.
But this is something I think I disliked the absolute most about this series: she never had a choice. In chapter 9, you see a scene of Ruve crying over Aristia. In chapter 142, you see that same scene. So, if the ending was predetermined since she was 10, Ari never 'escaped' her fate; Pioneer means nothing. Conclusively, this story speaks on how one cannot escape their fate. Well then damn, what was the point?
And one last thing: Aristia's love was never real. We learn this in chapter 9. Her love was a substitute for Jieun's, who was dumped in another world at the fault of Vita. So then, what was the point of such information when she slowly begins to fall in love with Ruve in the second life? Is it to show that her love is free from the ties of fate? But such cannot be, since Ari is still strung along to god's fate game.
I granted this series two stars, mainly for how it started, and for its art. Drawing these kinds of strips takes long hours, and all artists should be respected for putting their effort.
If you are a new reader, take caution. The story gives off a deceitful tone of Aristia leading her fate and striving to become a strong, powerful knight and heir to her house. However, we barely see Aristia's capabilities as a knight, and even Carsein's, who is thought to be the genius swordsman of the empire.

The Message of this is literally "live your life to be this man's wife, get betrayed, raped, used and abused, lose your father and your mind because of him and when you have a chance to escape all of that, try giving him another shot because he's a changed man and surely he won't do the same things again" -- I cannot stress this enough but this is the classic and most basic abuse victim mentality that leads to IRL deaths! This may be a fantasy story but this is not something that should be put into anyone's mind! It's f*cking TOXIC and honestly disgusting.
It's honestly funny how I have read other works where the characters were written to be the most vile and disgusting ones possible, even the main ones, and yet this is one of the few who has garnered such hate from me and most definitely the one who garnered it in the shortest amount of time. Author needs to stop fantasizing about abuse and how "everyone can change" and understand that while that is true and people can change, that doesn't mean they shouldn't suffer some consequences for it (justice is different from karma). Trash prince might be an alternate TL version of the one who did those horrendous actions, but the fact that Idiot Lead barely even seems to care about it after living through, dying and then having God intervene on her behalf to give her a second chance is the gravest problem of all.
Looking at the bigger picture: this means that everything the Idiot Lead went through was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY in order for her to go back and put into effect the chain of events that would "redeem" the asshole.
That's not redemption for the Male Lead; it's just damnation for the work itself.
My final rating:
2/10 for pretty art -- I at least respect the artist who had to endure this shit and put this garbage into form and color.

i just finished reading it and its such a mess lmao thats all i can say. plot holes everywhere, characters introduced for like 1 chapter ended up being plot significant (huh??), names thrown around everywhere that confuse the reader, loose ends so hastily tied, unconvincing character development (and actions??), and even the MC becomes wishy washy lovey dovey in the head in the end which was the last thing i wanted. like red head knight and weed dude literally disappears for chapters on end and suddenly return. even with the unsatisfying development, its just poorly written in general. such a shame

I haven’t finished it yet but I can see what you’re saying and I totally agree. In the beginning it seemed like a story about women empowerment (MC wanting to grow stronger and become independent and show that she didn’t necessarily need a man in her life unless she wanted to.) but as the story progressed the MC became kinda wishy washy and her feelings for the prince is starting to blind her to the point that she’d be willing to give her life for a man that killed her in her previous life.
Then there’s also the fact that she’s suddenly starting to long for a child that she hasn’t even thought about before and she’s starting to become a little bit too emotional.
As a woman I’m starting to feel a little bit offend by this story because of how the female character is turning out to be and I personally feel like this story is just overall kinda trashy. It had the potential to become something good and I could see what the creator of this story was trying to and the intentions that they had but it kinda flopped. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
WTF BRO
