Exactly! Dojin was RIGHT THERE when Hyesung's mom told him it was his fault for never looking for her! He saw how hurt and devastated Hyesung was. He knew better. Byul is still young and no one has told him what exactly happened. He doesn't know the Hyesung that was neglected and struggled to survive. He only knows the loving and supportive mom Hyesung. He's never met parents who are bad, so it's not surprising that he assumes his grandma can't be a terrible person.
