Did they really have to kill Isla this painfully and brutally and she was pregnant too so the child died...I hate how that bastard Mastif who made her pregnant, gave her hope and let her die like a chess piece isn't suffering, all they show is her vision or ghost hunting him. I hated him they made us hate Diana and then made us like her with a sudden redemption arc to only let her die like that with an airstrike. and I'm starting to hate the stupid queen too.
I actually cried at Isla's death, she was so loyal!
This is the type of story that sparks extra hatred because you subconsciously know that these are very real scenarios and it’s extremely hard to just chop it up to being fantasy then move on. Isla paid a very excessive price for trying to survive and it makes me burn with rage. Mastif had the reaction of a confused child when told she was going to die and then made no move to respond further which is fair considering how out of his mind he is. Realistically, it would make less sense for him to flip a switch which really shoves the dagger in hard.
What’s worse is the amount of people lost not even from the war between countries but instead from an unsupervised princess who isn’t even the real daughter. At first I questioned how the actual fudge nuggets the queen couldn’t just tell. But then I realized that the fake princess has same eyes of the person who would have been the father and acts like a carbon copy of him too. Then that sweet queen was no longer present and letting heinous acts go unchecked so she could legitimately pass as the real daughter.
And the father? Oh he needs to be dragged real hard. You took part in that disgusting scheme and fully intended to blow up your own forces just to find out your daughter who you spoiled to death was caught instead. Only then did you have regret cross your mind. And couldn’t even handle the guilt either. Immediately asked to be put out of his misery instead of sitting with the reality of what he contributed to. He took everyone’s else’s lives and pain as disposable jokes. About time he experienced it himself and I hope continues to be tortured by the outcome for years to come.
Gosh this story shows how truly twisted and tunnel visioned people are when they are greedy and/or selfish to the core. Full respect but dammit my blood pressure (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
that's actually what i like about the story. the mc tried to help isla but her efforts were in vain. that to me resembles real life, the unpredictability of it all. same with diana, ive seen so many stories where the evil sister either stays evil and meets her end or suddenly has a redemption arc and turns over a new leaf. i found her sister dying to be very good for the plot line, it keeps the reader angry at the author but also giving them a storyline that isn't predictable which makes them want more. i personally have been looking for a story like this and the mc is weak but she isn't stupid, she has trauma but she doesn't use that as an excuse for not helping. i found that very refreshing, especially!
Maybe Erez of the past really killed Ayana's family (leaving only her) so he can capture her and make her his...maybe he was the reason for Baron's family making her a deal for marriage! but why would he want her to get married? maybe it's not him, maybe the Baron's family knew Erez wanted her so they took her in for marriage but eventually all of them met their end and that let Ayana be the rulling regent of the Baron family. maybe it wasn't the plague that killed them but Erez orchestrated it. but why would he continue the war against Ayana? and something tells me Diabel wasn't originally a devil but offered something to become one to help Ayana start over, maybe he caught on to Erez's scheming and involvement, Erez did tell Ayana to surrender so maybe he wasn't even trying to execute her but to drive her into a corner so she had no choice but to accept him. he's truly a monster! everything is tied to Erez somehow. alot of things don't make sense.
I thought this was gonna be a lovey dovey cute couple with a unique, crazy-looking, virgin buff clueless seme....my guy is just a clueless virgin psychopath. Teach better pack his shit and run...this one can't be taught humanity, he will kill everyone around Teach till they're the only citizens in town
the best part about this is the adorable kids.
If Renee has the dragon's power why is she so weak? I mean yeah she heals fast and slightly stronger than normal people and has resistance to all kinds of magic and resistance to being brain washed by the dragon's bones, but still weak. how did she get the dragon's power anyways ? and what happened to the original Renee? and what happened 10 years ago between her and the dragon.
Renee's soul got transported when she was still little/child and that dragon take over her empty body but forcedly kicked out of Renee's body because her body on earth died so she was transported back to her original body. That's why some of the dragons magic is still on Renee's Body. She's also not weak, she just doesn't know that her body has magic. Ever noticed things break easily for her even held lightly?
Everything is the king's fault....I don't blame the Queen nor the Mistress. if the king paid attention to both his queen and lover and Edward and Joffrey or kept them at different palaces then none of this drama would've happened. the Queen's anger is justified...imagine getting married at 15 to a man who secretly has a lover before you and only married the queen for the money her country has, he could have married his lover but sadly she's broke.
King is a total bitch.

I totally root for Sophia and Aiden...he's clearly jealous that she started making relationships with other guys and him not being her world.
