do you guys always need some sort of big problem to enjoy a BL? It’s a slow story with almost everyday problems. It’s a good story for what it is and the side story is so cute too. It’s not even slow it’s just a normal college life BL, which is why it’s so great.

She later acknowledges how terrible she was to shi yan and tells him he can do better. It’s shi yan that lets her be with him. To make you guys feel better, I’ll tell you what shi yan does to show her how mad he was (obviously it didn’t last that long in the novel). In the novel, it was pretty angsty and shuyi gets stood up by shi yan. She waits for him and hours pass by. Deep down she knows why he didn’t show up and gets depressed because she fucked up. Shi Yan watches her stand alone for a few hours and then leaves to go back to the city (they call but I’m pretty sure she didn’t apologize or shi yan didn’t accept it at the time). Shuyi finds out Shi Yan blocked her on everything after trying to apologize. He ignores her in public (like deadass it was so embarrassing I took a break lmao). He also lets his niece quit her job and shuyi takes it as something related to her (it wasn’t) but he encouraged it so he probably wanted her to think that way. Shuyi also gets jealous when they reunite (even though he has no right & she knows this fact as well) because he was getting introduced to a girl. I get some of the dislike for shuyi but there’s definitely a line. She isn’t some innocent girl and I’m not sure why people default female mc’s to that. She isn’t a good person and she realizes it later on. What I hate about all of it is when people compare her to male characters and proceed to say “oh but if it were a man that did this yall would go crazy”. Like yes but male characters already do this and the moment a female mc does this, it’s the biggest problem there is. There are time when the FL is not the victim and create the problems. And that’s okay because it’s a story and I promise you she tries to fix it. Although she initially pursued shi yan for revenge, it’s obvious to us that her reasons aren’t the same. Mind you, this isnt clear to shi Yan and he’s allowed to be angry. This is where I defend Shi Yan. Imagine being used by someone you like for revenge. It would suck and you guys know it. Shi Yan doesn’t know Shuyi likes him because the girl doesn’t realize it herself. Shi Yan shouldn’t have to deal with a someone who actively pursued him and made him believe they were a certain person but actually isn’t at all. We should give Shuyi some grace but now completely forgive her or make her out to be this angel or devil. Shi Yan is and should be the most heartbroken. I’m not sure why people are trying to turn this on Shi Yan when he wasn’t aware of Shyui’s reasons. It’s not his fault.


Now, they get back together but Shi Yan gets a lot colder with Shuyi. It’s Shi Yans niece that keep them talking so you guys should thank her lmao. If I remember correctly. Shi Yan randomly shows up to her apartment just to stare and think. This day was also when Shuyi was sick so she was oblivous to Shi Yans sudden appearance. He only talks to her because he didn’t want her to be alone at night. So, he takes her to the hospital. Another time was when shuyi is still sick goes to the hospital alone, which she tells the niece (forgive me, I forgot her name ) and then the niece tells Shi Yan. He shows up for her but doesn’t make it seem like he wanted to. I’ll share more if asked but this is the very basic summary.

Although he didn’t manage to protect her by saying something about the weapons, it’s clear his intent was good. There’s nothing wrong with being cautious about the Grayan family considering what they’re known for and the things they did to the family. I’m hoping he lets Eiser prove himself or something since the manager is still an important part of the hotel. Eiser shouldn’t have to deal with these kinds of things because of what his family did.

Every adult failed yeongwoon. He was such a kind selfless soul and I argue he went through the most terrible things. He continues to help others and keeps his problems to himself. Seo-in’s parents are such shitty people who treat their own kids like tools or collectibles. I’m going to believe that the author keeps her word on Taegu still being significant to the story because he’s honestly no better than seo-in’s parents. Yeongwoon went through so much on his own and still is. Even though he has every right to become an awful person, he’s still the one with the most honesty and heart. He’s the only character I actually love in this manhwa.

I’m pretty sure Fredrick will keep her safe or keep her from harm while she’s detained. Victor is such a bitch
