if the art was more black and white manga style then this could pass but because its fairly good art and its in color i always expect better dialogue? maybe thats just me. if i was in middle school i would love this but I'm a young adult now so ill stick to my yaoi boys.

bro im in middle school and ffs this shit is fucking terrible

i like it but I'm highkey confused on whats going on. can someone give me a summary?

So from what I understand the female lead (Akane) comes from a Samurai family, her father was murdered by a man who has a mark on his body, so in order for her to find the truth behind the murder she decides to be a prostitute, and the highest ranking of them all, so that way she'll have all the connections needed to find out the truth, hence why she refuses when people (ex fiance, servant, male lead...) to pay her debt, because that means she won't be a prostitute anymore hence not being able to find out the truth, the male lead's sister was also sold to a brothel, because of poverty and their dad who's also a samurai but was a bad father who sold his daughter for money, and that's why the male lead hates Samurai families, so he decides to search for his sister by attending different brothels, he meets Akane in the process and he falls in love with her, that's why he wants to get her out of there, because he can't stand her being touched by anyone else. Hope it helps.
the art is low-key charming and i enjoy this a lot
