if i remember it ryt..he put the ring away because he didnt want to be teased by the other guys..i think he mentioned that if they saw the ring they would definitely teased him coz its the same as with the boss..or sumthin like that..quite not sure by the way..

I think it's aizen though. I mean, he didn't appear again for nothing. Also, we still don't know what led aizen to do the things he did. and the soul king isn't such a great guy either. Afterall, a good king must not be too good nor too evil, he must know how to play on both sides for the wellbeing of the majority.
