There are not that many series out there where I like All the characters and couples. I did miss the main couple (i like them more) but the 2nd couple is lovely in their own way too(▰˘◡˘▰) i just love this series a lot and how the author makes the couple communicate so well their thoughts and feelings, the communication is top tier here ヾ(☆▽☆)

He is a normal human like us, he is not into that world, he doesnt know what he has gotten himself into, a big part of why he is so cute is his innocence and naivety, everything mc doesnt have... I dont blame him for not thinking at all of his actions, poor child is in big trouble now
Naivety isn't cute on a grown ass adult who is old enough to live on his own in another country and work in a host bar. Not to mention the fact that he's lived long enough in Japan to know what the yakuza are up to. One of the first things anyone knows about Japan is not to mess with the yakuza; even tourists and people who've never been know that. There is literally nothing to defend how ignorant he is when the MC has been telling him to stay away since the very beginning. Willful ignorance isn't cute, and it doesn't make him a child, only a self-centered adult. He's just stubborn and only ever thinks of himself, and never thinks about the consequences of his actions.
Tl;dr let's stop infantilizing literal adults; he cute, but he ain't THAT cute to endanger MC's life
We teng to hate the characters that we identify with the most unconciously... I dont blame you for hating him or ppl like him, he is self centered but doesnt have ill intent, which makes him likeable to those of us who have seen so much ill intent everywhere we go. No one is perfect, but I like him and ppl like him. I have never killed like the mc (￣∇￣")but I am pretty similar personality wise to him.
People like him called IDIOTs. End of story.
