Kk so Hwa Gok was a human who later found out he was part lycan. Thing is, he formed a link with Lee Bin he became like part vampire too (called familiar in most vampire lores) where he feeds of his “creator’s” blood and on his way marked him as his mate as well, since Gok’s lycan is actually a female (hence the ability to get pregnant)
So he got pregnant but the risks of actually giving birth to that child were like shawty you gon die yknow. So after he gave birth they turned him into a full vampire so he didn’t have any risks of dying which it ended up in literal immortality.
