I've been through something similar once... I was seeing this guy who was good-looking and kinda popular in our college department and then I started hearing some rumors about how I was stalking him or going after him too desperately and blah blah blah. I remember mentioning part of it to him but seeing how he was so unaware of everything I was going through started making me slowly lose my feelings. Maybe I was a little immature too... and eventually I broke things up
