I think he's just desperate. Such a turnoff though. I felt bad for Xu Shang. But I also think that Mi Xi already suspected Chris meddling with his affairs.

it really is a turnoff tbh. i wanted to bitch slap him. like i understand he's sad xu shang was breaking up with him but come on, the guy legit had his secret come out, got beat up for it and then was guilt tripped/emotionally manipulated into giving up the thing he loves. he definetly has a stressful life and then u put the fact that he thinks mi xi doesnt actually love him and it seems like he's really losing everything. instead of understanding this and understanding how messed up xu shang must be feeling and comforting him (which is what a lover in a healthy relationship would do) he also manipulates xu shang and locks him up in an uncomfortable position after he tries to pretty much sexually harass him since xu shang was literally screaming "stop i dont want this i wanna go home" like there were clearly better ways to handle this but we keep seeing mi xi be the type that will always get what he wants no matter what. i liked this manhua cuz i found xu shang's story the most interesting to read. how he goes thru life hiding what he loves (i can relate to that since what i love is also hidden from the world and it really is hard and i have so much respect for xu shang for doing what he loves no matter how hard it is and how scary it would be if ppl found out) and dealing with all the stresses. i was hoping that mi xi would have been the support pillar xu shang needed cuz i knew shit would hit the fan soon and xu shang would need someone. im really salty that didnt happen and im also salty that we dont even get to see his friendship with the other dancer lady who was the manager of the dance club xu shang went to. their friendship and interactions were so nice cuz they really were proper friends and xu shang was happy when he spent time with her. xu shang needs more friends like that. the story moves at a snails pace for xu shang and mi xi because they didnt even have a solid foundation to build their relationship on so of course this couple is behind and face problems they wouldnt have if they didnt start of their relationship with blackmail. the other couple have a better relationship. theres trust and theres respect and both love and protect the other. i wish they also build their friendships instead of putting problems that literally drive the couple away from each other instead of get them closer. if i was xu shang i would be pissed at mi xi for not respecting my wishes and literally trying to assault me???? idk. i cant be the only one feeling like this?

Zankoku na kami ga shihai suru is one of those mangas often jumped by other readers because of its oldish art style. but really it is one of the best in all genre of twisted, dark, heart crippling yaoi ever! XD
