There siblings. I blame it not on them for the behavior but plot and the type of people it attracts. They're relationship is werid as shit from an outside perspective that's not reading in third person ESPECIALLY in that world. The knight concern isn't werid to me hes saying that since she's dead set on keeping her brother who can be actively training and bettering himself to her side coddling him, than she shouldn't be surprised when its assumes. If the knight assumes it you can picture how noble sociefy will see it and slowly but surely Dou would be outcasted.

And be so fr they aren't about to spread that and IV and dou 'siblingnship' isn't tarnished it's always been werid which is what I think the authors trying to show. They're connection cuts them off from the world and even with trauma bonding between. People trauma bond differently and the way they are is inherently not healthy even if its done out of love. And take it from someone who basically had to raise a little brother and sister out of trauma you can go through alot for and with your sibling and do everything in your power while showing love without coddling them from the world and blocking off opportunities. Different people different actions I'm just saying clinging like this would hold them down in the long run. But im not going to impose my thoughts I just thought how you written this was odd.

oh my god i think you misunderstood what i said bc i wasnt clear and shit LMAOO abt the rumours i meant the rumours with ivorre and the prince, not dou and ivorre. the rumours how the prince wants to engage with ivorre whilst she has rejected and turned him down many times but unfortunately theres a hierarchy and any insult or shit would be a crime towards the prince so she just showed poor hospitality towards them which is another sign that they are not wanted here; and the knight just cant seem to get it through the thick ass skull of his. i wasnt saying their siblingship was tarnished with the rumours, im saying i like their dynamic and how shes always looking out for him and how she saved him from that hellhole and gave him a proper life with education, food and happiness without living in that poverty again and being an outcast, what she wasnt able to do in her first life. shes just trying to make up for it for him from her previous life, she feels bad and now she wants to raise him right with love so that it doesnt repeat again, this is all for dou and now the point im saying is that of course its over trauma bonding and shit but its not like shes doing something wrong, its not like dou doesnt like it, he does - shes just worried that the sequence of events in her past life will happen again and i find that totally understandable, shes trying to prevent it and if you was in her shoes, coming back from your past life ultimately knowing that your brother was like that in the past you would want to change his fate too. shes trying her best as its a one woman job and no one else knows about this, its her second time living but shes trying to make it right. and it may take her time to fully understand what dou would want, but that would only work if it comes out of dous mouth, not a knights and not a rando. and yes sure, outsiders view it weird but then again its just a brother and sister trying to survive, they only have each other and their own father is against them wanting to sell their own place, then getting rekt. i think u misunderstood me, i also said that in a fit of rage because i was just so mad of their audacity to first of all, invade their home might i add UNWELCOMED and then come up w all this shit and its going to make ivorre stray away from dou thinking she mustve been doing something wrong and wouldnt want this to affect dou (perchance) and dou will get upset and wondering what he’s done wrong for her to avoid him which could trigger some psychological response and he also depends on her so this all of a sudden happening to a kid its too much for him, hes still young and its just going to be a chain of misery. shes just trying to make things right, shes scared and shes trying the best she can to raise him with love and to not make him worry about anything, and thats how i find it absolutely beautiful as there is “no room in her heart for another” per the princes words. her second life is solely to make sure dou is raised right, and its not like in the future shes STILL going to be with him, its the fundamental stages of growth as a child that helps shape a childs behaviour and their mindset and shes trying to set it right for him until hes an adult or old enough and knows to be independent and make his own wise decisions, shes just trying to prevent everything from happening again. holy yap

Oh I get you. That makes sense tbh I was just injecting the point that yeah I understand completely but this seems to be the author way of trying to right a flaw they felt they made because they couldnt properly build on it with the relationship. That being said you explanation is far better than the plot itself and im sure that's what was trying to be conveyed. But how its being written and how this is going, if the author didnt invite that scene there would be an oddity in that plot and a strange 'hang on' dynamic in the future of it(think werid boymom relationships). And yeah im a lover od family plots of any kind and god its terribly hard to raise a child especially one of opposite gender and you would want to focuse yourself on them and I agree that yes she have far greater issues. And for those with trauma younger children you want them to be dependent on you to an extent but also welcome people in their lives to help with growth. Which is why I think the ml and his knight should stick around for Dou not for Ivory in the romantic sense just male role models since he has no good ones right now(i wished it was written better). Still I do get and agree with your point.
