12 volumes of this masterpiece was just delivered to me in paper version ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
It's sad that the volumes are realsed every three months, but I'm still happy to see it on my bookshelf. It's really worth to spend less than 6$ for one volume, when it gives so much saitsfaction. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Ironic how sometime ago I said Lafilia is a pain in the ass and is as selfish as her mother. And the only reason she likes the prince is because he is a prince and she is a bitchy as her mother. Back then people were so mad at me for being angry at a kid and how nothing is her fault. Today many people think the same way I do after she told everyone she shared letters with the crown prince which could suggest she has a close relationship with him and that they may be engaged. Even if she is not doing it on purpose, it's clearly a bitchy way to stick to someone of power.

Shen Yu's mother was taken away to the palace i think. And the king knew it later on.
But first, Shen Yu will be injured, pretty soon and the emperor will take him away to treat his wounds and will keep him by his side. I think the king became a traitor because the emperor locked him in a prison and tortured him. Shen Yu helped him escape and went to find his mother. He got money and wanted to leave with his mother to live together in peace. Too bad, the king started revolution, defeated the emperor and many people in the palace were killed. Along with Shen Yu's mother who was kept there or in antoher place, not sure, but she died in all this commotion. Shen Yu found his poor dead mother and felt extremely sad. He was angry at the king who saw him and followed him. The king tried to show some kindness to Shen Yu but he was angry and said the king knew his mother was there, but didn't do anything because it would spoil his plans. Then he took his mother's dead body on his back and wanted to leave. The king for the first time felt he did something wrong and felt bad that Shen Yu hates him.
Shen Yu fainted since he was weak, the emperor took him with him. When Shen Yu woke up he was cold to the king who was now emperor. The emperor got angry that Shen Yu didn't care for their past affections and showed his dislike towards him. He tried to make Shen Yu change his attitude but Shen Yu changed after all of this and became smarter and more stubborn. He wasn't afraid anymore. Then some bitch appeared who decided to seduce the new emperor so she can get the highest position in easy way. The emperor gave no shit at first and knew what she wanted, but then he thought that he can use her to make Shen Yu jealous. He decided to marry her as his concubine. When asked Shen Yu said he doesn't really care and decided to send them a gift with a smile on his face.
Thats how far the raws go. Don't sak me about them, I read them on the original website, you have to pay to read, but every week or so one chapter is free to read. But if u didnt see the previous ones you will be confused since the story is far ahead from the english version in chinese raws.

UPDATE: He married the bitch but without any ceremony and when she was taken to the room he just left after few words without even taking her veil off. The bitch got angry, I guess she will make some trouble. The emperor got upset because Shen Yu didn't react. He got drunk and met Shen Yu on the way back to his room. Shen Yu gave him a brown pendant as a present which the emperor broke, Shen Yu just picked the pieces up and gave it back to him. Not sure what Shen Yu told him though

My situation is very similiar to Hyesung's... And even my father who abandoned me and my two siblings 11 years ago makes the same excuses as Hyesung's mother... The only difference is that my mom is a good mother and my asshole father left because he wanted to have his freedom in fu*king every woman he can fuck. Until now my father calls me when he is drunk and always says how he is our father above everything else with a sad voice. I always ask then:
The why you never cared about us? Why you never asked if i needed anything knowing that mom is over-working herself just to raise us? Why you never came to my graduation ceremony in elementary school, in middle school, in high school? Why you never asked how i did on my exams? Why you never came to see me out of pure care? Why you approached me only if you needed to get something from me? Why you never took a part in my life except for a few phone calls in those 11 years? Even when we moved to another city you never came to look for us.

And then I say. You know why? Because you fucking beaten mom all the time when you were drunk, because you always left us alone when Julia was only four, I was seven and Patrick was ten, you fucking left us all alone at home and went drinking. Then you came back drunk and scared Julia to tears. Because I was bullied at school because of you, i always smelt of cigs, other kids hated me. Because i had problems with aggresion in elementary school and you were the cause. Because until i went for high school I had a habit of scratching my hands to blood, i have scars until now. It was my reaction to stress, which developed because of you. Beacuse I have trauma and so many fucking problems with myself that its still hunting me in adult life. I have a disorder common for children from abusing families, also because of you.
Then he pretends he heard nothing and starts to say how he loves us and is our father.

I really hate Hyesung's mother who makes the same excuse ,,because you didn't look for me either" which fucking kid would search for their parent when they abandoned them, caused them to live in hell and didn't want to take care of them? Also for the parent that caused for the kid to have psychological problems and trauma. I understand how Hyesung feels, althought i also yearn to have a father, i can't forgive him no matter what. Because just like Hyesung said it would make us idiots if we did. He did the right thing, he should let her live with the fact she abandoned her own son for the rest of her life. Yes, she left because her husband was abusive and treating her like prostitute, it's obvious she wanted to run away. But Hyesung did nothing wrong and she never came to look for him all those years and makes excuses later on. People abandoned by their parents, lets connect in our pain and anger. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

That's so weird and unlogical to first change her skin to light and in the next chapter she is dark again. I mean, I guess it was because people were unhappy and said it's racist and all, but the change of skin colour was an important thing. It was to show that as soon as her skin changed others changed their attitude towards her which is really fake. When she had dark skin she was treated like a disease, as soon as it changed to light, they started to treat her good. It was important for the story. So why change her skin without a reason. She is light now, and she should stay this way even if being dark suited her better. She has an inner fight with herself because of the change of her parents. Hate them or not, accept what they offer or not. All of this was caused by her skin becoming light. Now it's dark again in the manga, while in original novel it stays light for probably the rest of her life. And here they changed it and completely ruined the moral. This story is supposed to show that even if someone is different, with different skin colour or anything, they still feel the same feelings like others and being despised like that hurts them a lot. Especially when they did nothing wrong. I like her with dark skin more, it suits her and she is matching with Geralt (づ￣ ³￣)づ
But if they wanted to change it in the manga they should at least give some reason why she turned dark again. For example -Geralt did it. Anything, but not changing such an important thing without any reason.

He needs an excuse to marry a commoner and ,,because I love her" won't make the nobles accept her. After all most of the royal and noble marriages were formed according to title and benefits. He needs to show them that making her his empress will be a good thing for them. Even in history books it's evident that most marriages weren't formed because of love. The youngest queen of my country was crowned at the age of 10 and 2 years later she married 20 years older husband. In my opinion it was a marriage formed in order to stabilize the young queen's position and after all she was just 12 y.o, she needed someone who would stand by her and support her. And it had to be an adult man who would rule the country with her. They were good rulers though. Althought they didn't love each other. But the queen lived in harmony with him. At least that's what books say. In other worlds marriages in royal families won't be accepted by nobles with simple ,,i love her/him"

If Jooyoung is going to end up with thay fucking asshole after all of this shit he did then I will kill that piece of shit myself. Just what the fuck. He is messing up things so much. For being an selfish asshole he deserves to be alone for eternity.
