This is by far the weirdest world building I’ve read. It just keeps reminding me of Chongyun… with all that Yang energy—
I didn’t think I would actually get invested in their relationship now I just want for fluff or stories about their chaotic love
I cannot get a vibe on these characters they’re to inconsistent, words and actions are not matching and I feel like the author just likes to throw in random things. So just when I think I understood their character motivations it’s like they do a 180 completely. Like I really think this would’ve done better as a shounen ai
I was enjoying my time reading this and then a thought popped into my head “Man this story really was written by a Japanese person“ (no offense it’s just one of those things that takes you out of the immersion like, so they this is how they see foreigners kind of way)
Firstly if your last name is Cashman in the US and I knew your dad was CEO— boi you better check your family’s narcissism rn and I haven’t even talk about the art, literally got up and yelled WTTTFFF and then just went back to reading. Whiplash

The beginning was really hard to keep up with, so much world building and plot just thrown at you. But if you make it out of that shit hole lore dump, it’s not so bad! :D

As an Asian I just don’t know why it’s so important to point out that he’s Asian. Cause now he looks like an exotic bird. I also feel like they could’ve done show not tell instead.
My brain: Um okay, Is this going to add anything his character? What’s the point. Representation???wha?
