“Corrupt cop and unabashed hedonist” in the description REALLY caught me off guard during my casual browsing…
Anyhow, would anyone like to tell me if this is worth a read, in their opinion? Feel free to over-explain why.

IMO it’s worth the read. If you’re okay with reading r@pe twice by the ML. He regrets it and chases MC. He is still chasing him. MC opened up the tiniest bit. ML shamelessly follows MC around confessing his love for him. Today even the most recent ch 90, ML is still clearly confessing for like 99th time and MC is still dull as ever. Bratty shameless clingy ML x beefy naive eq lacking MC (not annoying). Both somehow likable. Plot is quite refreshing if you can read past SA part.

The main point imo is that the ML was a bad person on the right side of the law, so his crimes are scarier. However, I find his character development amazing - he doesn't become a good person, doesn't even get a good personality change, but he's finally faced with someone he cares about. He is someone who's always had it all, faced with the one thing he can't simply take, but it does not seem like he is facing it as just a challenge.

Absolutely worth it. You will not find a corrupt cop like this one anywhere, the end of season 1 always gets me speeches again. I wanna call it slow but to me it's been perfect. The pace is so well, the events are there and it's never a boring chapter thanks to the characters. The reading experience of this is simply so rewarding.

I actually just finished binging it.
It was honestly worth it for the dialogue alone but I was also very impressed by the way the characters themselves were written. Whether you come to love them or hate them, their portrayal is undeniably fascinating if you actually stop to think about how their personalities affect their actions.
All in all, a well worth read that I will certainly be checking up on as it updates.

I don’t understand him at all and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Not being to tell what he’s thinking or predict what he’ll do next is such a fresh depart from the same ol’ characters and cliché routine. Don’t get me wrong, that’s all fine too, but I like something unique every now and again. As a treat, y’know?

his "real" version seems like those likeable villains- you know those types that are fully open about being genocidal-narcissistic maniacs but you still can't help liking coz they're so charismatic and their motive somehow makes sense lmao. Also judging by the title, author used inspo from greek myth and those stories are full of twists and turns.
Call me crazy, but seeing a dick that wasn’t drawn to look “perfect” or “pretty” for a change was insanely refreshing.
The size however… holy mother of nature’s battering ram. All hell is about to break loose, and by “hell”, I mean that poor dude’s ass.
