My whole pov about jiheon changed after this chapter. I thought (from wooju's memories in earlier chapters) that he was a total obsessed freak and he somehow enjoys seeing wooju suffering. But tbh I can see that before obsession there is love and care from his side towards wooju.
Before u say anth hear me out ik he drugged him but even tho he did he had no clue about the side effects, still drugging sm1 is obviously a crime but am tryna say that he acc cares about him but ig his personality is fucked up and he shows his care in wrong ways. And I liked how he gave wooju time after the fight at cha's House, hear me out ik he jumped cha and shit but cmon he definitely thought they did smth so I excuse him on this one cus tbh that'll be my first reaction if I saw my partner in another man/woman's house (even tho technically they're not dating). But after that he didn't try to contact wooju even tho he knew well that he was still with cha, so I think at least that's kinda decent from him.

Like, you’re already in a genre that often plays with power imbalance, obsession, or trauma. Just because you prefer fluff doesn’t make you morally better. Not every story is meant to be wholesome. Some are meant to be painful, intense, or unsettling, and that’s still valid.
And for people judging others that read manhwa that includes rape, calling them psychos and whatsoever.
No one’s saying rape is okay just because it’s in a story. There’s a big difference between normalizing something and exploring it through fiction. Dark themes have always existed in books, movies, and art ,it doesn’t mean people support the actions. It means they’re interested in the emotions, consequences, and complexity behind them.
And if you are saying "rape isn't necessary so why include it" the author clearly included it for a reason. Either to explore a character's trauma, emotions, or to make us see how a certain character thinks in these situations. And if you said that about a manhwa that has messed up characters, like killers or mentally ill ones, then you're just stupid. What makes you think that someone who kills people would be stable when it comes to sexual intercourse.

Am not saying what he did is not wrong and absolutely messed up but tbh, I see what both mc and rik did in the same level of petty. For God's sake they're literally minors that have been traumatised on different levels by different methods. If u think mc's trauma is less valuable than rik's u are wrong. Don't u have those moments in life when smth bad happens to u and u think like ure the only one suffering on earth even tho there r probably other ppl that suffered way worst than u?
For example if rik himself had a friend that let's say: got raped in their childhood, yall will compare rik's trauma with theirs saying that rik's is lower and not that deep. What am trying to say is ppl always compare based on what THEY see is worst and they never put themselves in the person that suffer from that certain trauma's shoe.
