Okay this story was really fucking good, but i read part 2 while i was basically half asleep and feel like i missed some details. Why did Ed and McQueen break up after the movie was released? What was the big deal / controversy with the movie, and why was Ryan negatively affected by it?
my educated guess from what i DID catch at 1am is that Ed was mad because he was outed and judged for doing gay porn, and that McQueen knew that that would happen but still didn't warn him or something? Im still kind of confused as to why there was a fight in the first place, but again, i was half asleep. anybody willing to give me a quick summary of part 2 is appreciated
pleasee let me have it too lol but seriously m super confuse of what was the main problem about, yeah i know its about p*rn but bijj can someone explain details by details. Cus my braincells is kinda lagging. And i just go with the flow to the ending without even understanding fully.
So what I believe, I think that the movie was a private video for Ed and McQueen but then he sold it to make profit or something because Chang was really angry and said he’d buy it all and to stop making profit from it. And idk about Ryan but I think from a different movie (not really sure it’s 3am ToT) the plot was based on an actually rape and Ryan was feeling pleasure and manipulated not knowing it actually happened and it was based on this guy raping someone or something, don’t count me on either of these it’s what I think from what I read! If I’m wrong someone please correct me!! :)

for ed and glenn's movie:
despite ed's consent for the movie to be released he still felt like shit since he feels exposed and he felt even shittier that mcqueen is profiting from something he is ashamed of. i think he expected more from mcqueen. he wanted mcqueen to stop him from agreeing to release the movie. he wanted mcqueen to not release it. i think the only reason he agreed to release the movie was because of the money. thats why he expected mcqueen to not release it but they still did. and thats why he said that mcqueen is a 'pimp', who just profits on the things they (ed and ryan) regret.
as for ryan and glenn's movie:
it was really stupid and ignorant on glenn's behalf for producing a porn movie that romanticizes rape, it was disrespectful for the rapist's victim since it shows their worst experiences while someone is profiting from it. the worst part is glenn thought that he was creating art. as for ryan, i believe he regretted being on porn especially when he was portrayed as the victim of the rapist. he felt disgusted. just like ed.

Endings of stories never seem good enough for me. I usually feel like they don't live up to the past chapters, or that they are rushed or poorly written. I really loved this ending though because there was clearly intent for that type of ending since the beginning. Ngl i was a bit confused for like the first half of the story, but the second half really brought everything together. I also cried at the end :( 10/10 recommend
It's a pretty decent story, was very generic with nothing really special or memorable about it. The artstyle wasn't for me and there wasnt any development, but its something good to read if you dont like a lot of drama or angst
Loved the art in this one, it seriously reminded me so much of Studio Ghibli, especially the eyes. I look at Tsuburaya's eyes and all I see is Howl

Jihwa and the assassin are definitely going to get together, or at least have a thing. The fact that he assassin is drawn handsomly and the wrist grab told me all i needed to know

I think its moee common in manga. But theres also more mangas on this site so that makes a difference too.
