it was...... so different than the rest of the series by this author. literally got so confused i thought i accidentally read someone else's work.... and cant say i enjoyed this one. except for his humongous titties tho.
well, yakuza stories arent sunshine and rainbows, but this one just left a bitter tasts to the tongue. there's like, no reason for all this idk. like. why did he listen when that basically-random guy told him to put a tattoo on him (like, how did that benefit the head?), why he was introduced to that tattoo artist if the head knew the guy was shady, and like how pathetic he was that he let his guard down so much he got stabbed by a random mob. also like who the tattoo artist guy actually was and why did the head had to cut off his whole arm? idk, nothing makes sense and the end was so rushed there was no closure at all aside from the cheap 'turns-out-you're-still-alive' reunion.
i think they didnt really delve into the couple's relationship enough to make them immersive. ig i can understand their dynamic, but that doesnt make it any more meaningful to me idk. the story felt like a revenge drama with a romance sub-plot rather than vice versa. shame, bc it was really interesting. the plot was pretty thought up too, just lacking on the romantic spark aspect.

both stories in general are ok, pretty cute, but the second story pissed me tf off bc he gave up a job offer for a guy that barely became his bf im literally jumping off a cliff rn LIKE????? ACCEPT THE JOB ALREADY OH MY GOD literally the whole chapter had me literally "oh my god when will he reply the job offer" rather than "oh my god when are they gonna confess" IM SO PISSED
