inaho and subaru are so adorable with each other but oh god ougi is just so fucking unbearable. putting a curse on his own brother that endangered inaho, the person he claimed to love, all bc his brother was quicker on picking the human to marry???? pathetic ass child. inaho was almost devoured to death yet he still didnt lift the curse. all he did was fucking sulk and locked himself in his pathetic little room. and also when he "offered" to "satisfy inaho's sexual desire" while subaru "looks for a way to lift the curse" like he's doing it as a favor for his brother? when he's literally the fucking person that created that unnecessary problem?????? not so smooth, beggars. and then when inaho was kind enough to forgive him, he pushed his luck by basically begging inaho to marry him too, yet everything he talked about to inaho is about how much he wanted to fuck him: offering to sleep with inaho while subaru is "trying to find the curse" and also to "comfort inaho if subaru is neglecting him" oh my god he's so fucking unbearable. shallow ass pathetic motherfucker. cant look at his ugly mug without wanting to punch him fr.
i love this one so much. i love the direction the story headed to. it felt like the story started with an attempt of dark, toxic love without a way out of a mentally deranged couple; but as the story progressed, it went into a more realistic, clearer, "healthy" direction that recognized their unhealthy mental states. it felt hopeful, and not dark for the sake of being dark. and then, the epilogue. it felt so hopeful and lovely; not magically fixing everything but one step at a time. some things were rushed in the end, but other than that, i think the story was wrapped nicely. i love them so much.
