the fact the main relation was the platonic one not the romantic one speaks for itself, especially since its a BL, it gives the realistic touch, this is a must read. probably one of the rarest BL which is realistic but not too heavy hearted. loved the ending but really hoped they reunited at least once :(

I think the author intentionally leaves us room for imagination. Like if it's romance, it's romance. If it's clinginess, it's clinginess. Even if the side stories look sus, they're still just side stories. Maybe there's no right or wrong in defining their relationship.
