Not too surprising - Asian countries are very culturally conservative. Everyone is expected to be perfect and filial, if they step out of local cultural norms they become a failure of their family. Westerners tend to look at the East through the lense of their own traditions which obviously foolish because the East is very different history and arguably, value wise. Western POP-culture obviously influenced the East but that's just marketing, the East still put it's own stamp on it and that stamp is made of iron. It's sad sometimes because it all seems so unfair and grueling but it's part of Asia's cultural evolution. Man, I almost drop this because how hard it was to read S1 of Aeroc’a suffering and Kloff’s vengeance. But I persisted but I stupidly hope Kloff would see how negatively he’s hurting Aeroc and change his ways. But it was too late because Aeroc dies which left Kloff basically miserable afterwards despite having his children there for him. He actually deteriorated because of all he did.
I get what Aeroc did it Raphiel was terrible but raping Aeroc wasn't gonna help either!
So S2 was a bit of a surprise with them making amends. Well more so on Aeroc as he recall before in his first life whereas Kloff only see glimpses but he is subconsciously trying being a good by saving commoner omegas from being rape as well.
