someone gave me this perspective and it is that the aliens’ actions didn’t come from a bad place. they genuinely thought they were helping mori, although they don’t really have the capacity to understand emotions. the tubes or something they attached to mori was to make sure mori stayed fed as they think physical health is very important. unfortunately, they don’t really understand the concept of emotions so they are incapable of giving what mori actually needed. despite that, they still tried their best. i just hope they’ll understand soon bcs my heart is breaking!!!
